Women Across Professions 2022

The Women Across Professions Conference is a once in a lifetime opportunity to hear the stories, journeys, and advice from women at the forefront of their field. Everyday of the school week from May 2-6, one interview with a female leader will be broadcasted live for viewers at 11am HST. These interviews are also special edition episodes of our podcast, Where do WeGo! and will be posted on our podcast as well. Here are the lineup of speakers:

Stephanie Barter
Monday, May 2 at 11am HST
Stephanie Barter works at Platinum Equity, a private equity company based in Los Angeles, and is now a Partner within the organization. She currently manages their Mergers & Acquisitions Team, but has held roles in multiple capacities. She holds a degree in English from University of Rhode Island. In her current role, Ms. Barter champions the values of community, problem-solving, and diversity.

Jennifer Littenberg
Tuesday, May 3 at 11am HST
Jennifer Littenberg has worked for 20 years in the science/engineering field in positions such as chemical and environmental scientist, design engineer. She currently serves as Corporate Compliance Manager for Environmental and Dangerous Goods for Hawaiian Airlines. Graduate of Mid-Pacific Institute and Colorado State University, she came out of school as a chemical engineer with a masters degree in environmental engineering.

Teresa Vo
Wednesday, May 4 at 11am HST
Teresa Vo is currently a Pediatric Doctor and works as a partner at Pediatric Physicians Group. Dr. Vo is a Doctor of Osteopathy at PPG. She has attained hundreds of patients, who she provides primary care for. Graduate of Iolani, then attended University of San Diego for her undergraduate degree, Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine for her D.O. degree, University of Hawaii for her residency.

Stanna Abellira
Thursday, May 5 at 11am HST
Stanna Abellira is currently a Principal at Optimize HR, LLC, where she works in human resources consulting. Ms. Abellira has worked in various human resources roles for over 20 years. She is a member of the Punahou Class of ‘89, and a graduate of University of Hawaii’s Shidler College of Business Executive MBA program. She emphasizes the importance of building networks and learning constantly.

Alyson Tamamoto
Friday, May 6 at 11am HST
Alyson Tamamoto is a Pediatric Doctor with Pediatric Physicians group. Dr. Tamamoto enjoys making connections with all of her families. She is a graduate of Iolani School, as well as Occidental College for her undergraduate degree, the University of Hawaii for her Medical Degree, and the University of Hawaii for her Pediatric residency.
